The FC Female Condom
(Formerly Reality Female Condoms before 2002) is a soft, loose-fitting, polyurethane
sheath that lines the vagina. It has a soft ring on each end. One end is closed and the
other end is open. The ring at the closed end is inserted in the vagina to keep the female
condom in place during sex. The ring at the open end stays outside the vagina and partly
covers the labia. The polyurethane that the FC Female Condom is made of is a strong, thin
plastic (polyurethane). Polyurethane conducts heat while providing an effective barrier
